Dr Ruby Loschiavo

Dr Ruby completed her medical studies and Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne and is beginning her GP training with a strong commitment to accessible, holistic, and person-centred care.

She has worked across a wide range of settings including Melbourne, Cairns, Tully, the Sunshine Coast, and Brisbane, bringing broad experience in both hospital and community-based care.

Her style of care is warm, practical, and focused on helping patients feel informed, empowered, and supported to take an active role in their health decisions.

She is especially interested in caring for women, children, and young people, and values prevention, education, and long-term relationships in general practice.

Dr Ruby's clinical background includes work in culturally diverse and regional settings, as well as experience in emergency and general practice environments caring for both adult and paediatric patients.

Alongside clinical work, she has worked in women's health promotion and education in Queensland, and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Child Health. She has a particular interest in contraception, adolescent sexual health education, and is certified in Implanon insertion and removal.
